Matthew Farrar is an experienced marine engineer with a career spanning over a decade in various roles within the maritime industry. Currently serving as a 3rd Assistant Engineer Unlimited at MEBA Dist 1-PCD since April 2020, Matthew also holds the position of 3rd Assistant Engineer at Seaward Marine Services, LLC, since July 2017, and has worked as QMED with American Queen Steamboat Company since May 2016. Previous experience includes roles such as QMED at FairfieldNodal and Engineer at GIS Marine, alongside an early position as an Unlicensed Engineer at INTERNATIONAL OFFSHORE SERVICES. Matthew's education includes a degree in Maritime Studies from Mid Atlantic Maritime and training at Sea School Mobile, equipping him with practical skills in engine room operations, maintenance, and record-keeping.
