Sabrina Woon-Chen

Adjunct Instructor at Seattle University

Sabrina Woon-Chen is a dedicated social work educator and therapist with extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. Currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Washington School of Social Work and an Adjunct Instructor at Seattle University, Sabrina teaches various social work courses, including those focused on advocacy, global migration, and trauma resilience. Sabrina's clinical background includes providing individual therapy at API Chaya, where trauma processing for survivors of violence and an anti-oppression framework are integral to the therapeutic approach. Previously, roles included serving as a Children & Youth Therapist at the Asian Counseling and Referral Service and a Client Care Specialist at the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center. Sabrina holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree from Seattle University.
