Jennifer Coogan serves as the Director and Assistant Dean of Student Academic Affairs in the College of Science and Engineering at Seattle University since July 2019. This role encompasses results-oriented leadership in academic advising, overseeing the academic standing of students, and managing various services to support student success. Prior to this position, Jennifer held significant roles, including Associate Dean at Shoreline Community College, where responsibilities included advising and student retention, and as an Advisor at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Jennifer has also contributed as a counselor and advisor in various educational settings, providing guidance to first-generation and low-income students. Jennifer holds an M.Ed. in Reading from the University of Maryland and a BA/MA in Psychology and Community Counseling from Marist College.
