DeWayne Threet is an experienced research technician currently working at the Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research since October 2022, focusing on animal models for studying GLP-1's effect on Type 2 Diabetes. Prior to this role, DeWayne served as a research scientist at the University of Washington from August 2004 to November 2018, managing in-vivo rodent studies within the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. DeWayne's earlier experience includes working as a research associate at SNBL USA from August 1999 to July 2004, where responsibilities involved performing pre-clinical procedures on research animals and adhering to FDA Good Laboratory Practice standards.
