Paul Decker is an experienced marine science educator currently serving as the On-site School Programs Coordinator at Seattle Aquarium since February 2018, where responsibilities have included leading educational activities for summer campers and conducting citizen science programs for high school students. Previous roles at the Seattle Aquarium involved marine science instruction and camp counseling. From July 2011 to December 2022, Paul managed a successful book blog, connecting with authors and publishers for reviews. Paul has also worked as a self-employed contractor specializing in endangered species observation, with experience in various manatee observation projects. Earlier experience includes serving as a summer camp counselor at Christ the King Lutheran Church & Preschool, developing science-based curriculum. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from Florida Institute of Technology.
