Joan Shaho is a Software Engineer II at SeatGeek, with a background in both teaching and research. Previously, Joan served as a Teaching Assistant for courses in scalable and cloud computing at the University of Pennsylvania, where responsibilities included holding office hours and assisting students with projects and homework. Joan has also worked as a Full Stack Engineer Intern at InSpirAVE, enhancing search accuracy and user satisfaction through various initiatives. Research experience includes developing a GUI for a robot simulation program and automating processes in CNN for predicting Radio Frequency Interference in astronomical data. Joan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2021.
