Leila Deravi is currently working as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Northeastern University. Leila co-founded Seaspire Skincare and serves as a Scientific Advisor. Previously, Leila has held positions at University of New Hampshire and Harvard University, focusing on nanofiber fabrication technologies and protein textiles. During their graduate studies at Vanderbilt University, Leila conducted research on biomimetic inks and protein-based assays for reactive surfaces. Leila holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University and a B.A.Sc. in Chemistry from The University of Alabama.
