Sean McAfee has worked in the tech industry since 2005. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Ops Engineer for Seasoned. From 2014 to 2021, they were the Director of TechOps/Information Security Manager at JazzHR, where they were responsible for maintaining a high-uptime AWS environment, security and compliance initiatives, and cross-department process development. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Vice President of Infrastructure at Intermedix, where they led projects related to consolidation and standardization across dozens of acquired companies. From 2006 to 2011, they were the Director of System Operations at Collaborative Fusion, where they were responsible for operations for a company providing high-uptime Emergency Response and Disaster Preparedness solutions to state, local, and federal agencies. From 2005 to 2006, they were the IT Manager/Paralegal at Wilbraham Lawler & Buba, where they handled traditional desktop support and drove significant business process improvements through ongoing development of an inherited Office/Access-based legal claims tracking system.

Sean McAfee is currently studying Communications & Politicial Science at the University of Pittsburgh.
