April Kerby Phelps, UXC, currently serves as a Senior User Experience Designer at GovOS since October 2023. Previously, April held the same title at Homecare Homebase from September 2020 to October 2023, where responsibilities included creating and maintaining a departmental design system and mentoring junior designers. April also contributed to Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US from May 2004 to September 2020, initially as a Technical Writer II and later as a Senior User Experience Designer, focusing on improvements in the tax return review process and leading redesign efforts on a sales tax product that enhanced customer satisfaction. April earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a specialization in Technical Communication from Texas Tech University between 1999 and 2003.
