Tristan Sjolie began their career in 2015 as an Information Security Analyst for General Dynamics Information Technology. Tristan held this role until 2019 when they moved to Sealing Technologies, Inc. as a Security Engineer.

Tristan Sjolie attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2010 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. In November 2020, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
