Monico Ortiz is a Senior Staff Analog Engineer at MicroVision, specializing in the integration and testing of LiDAR systems, as well as the design of custom analog ASICs. In addition to this role, Monico serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Sealaska and as a delegate for the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. Previous experience includes positions as an Avionics Hardware Validation and Verification Engineer at Blue Origin, a Sr. Sensor/ASIC Designer at NEXT Biometrics Inc., a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer at PACCAR, a Principal Engineer at Raytheon, and a member of the technical staff at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Monico holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, along with a certificate in Embedded and Real-Time Systems Programming.
