Dean Nicholson is an experienced ASIC staff engineer currently at Seagate Technology since August 1992, specializing in ASIC design and verification. Previous roles at Seagate included Sr. ASIC Engineer and System Development Engineer, as well as managing operations as a Shift Manager. Dean founded Bright Blue Tech, LLC in July 2017, leveraging over 25 years of experience in the electronics industry to create race gates for hobby racing. Prior to their tenure at Seagate, Dean worked as a Debug Technician/Operator at Manpower and held retail and support positions at Radio Shack and American Micro Systems. Dean Nicholson holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, VLSI from the University of Oklahoma and an Associate in Science in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
