Kari LLeras is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching roles since 2005. Currently, Kari serves as a Teacher at PS 236 and has held the position of Substitute Teacher with NYC DOE since December 2017. In addition, Kari contributes as an ESL Teacher at the Sussex Technical Adult Division/Family Literacy Program. Previous experience includes a long-term position as a Second Grade Teacher at Seaford School District. Kari's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Reading from Wilmington University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Wilmington College (OH), along with an Associate's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Delaware Technical and Community College-Owens.
