Gerard Johnson is an experienced professional in development and finance, currently serving as Senior Advisor Caribbean at SEAF since May 2018. Prior roles include Senior Consultant at the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service in Jamaica and Senior Advisor for Caribbean Portfolio Development at UNOPS, both spanning 2020 to 2023. Additionally, Gerard held the position of Chief Representative - Caribbean at GDP Global Development and Limited Partner at Global Investment Facilitators. With significant experience at the Inter-American Development Bank, Gerard was General Manager, Country Representative, and Principal Advisor, playing a crucial role in managing large loan portfolios and enhancing the bank's image during challenging times. Gerard holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Kent at Canterbury and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Georgetown University.
