Luiz Douglas Trindade Silva has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an MPD Operator at Seadrill since May 2016, where responsibilities include organizing and operating cyber equipment and facilitating communication on the drill floor. Previously, Luiz worked as a Roughneck at Odfjell Drilling from January 2013 to May 2015, monitoring tanks and shakers and collaborating with the Pump man under the supervision of the mud engineer. Earlier experience includes a role as a Production Assistant Operator at Conterp, focusing on production testing and maintenance. Luiz holds a Pós-graduação Lato Sensu in Petroleum and Gas Engineering from Faculdade Unyleya (2022), a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Universidade Cidade de São Paulo (2021), and technical certifications in Automation and Oil and Gas.
