Nicholas Berner has extensive experience in marine engineering and education, currently serving as the 1st Assistant Engineer on the M/V Ocean Giant with Seabulk since September 2019. Prior to this role, Nicholas held positions as 2nd Assistant Engineer and Partner at Goose River Hydro, Inc., and gained additional experience with organizations such as Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and the Alaska Marine Highway System. Nicholas's earlier roles also included teaching English at the Aga Khan School in Kyrgyzstan and tutoring math and physics at Maine Maritime Academy, where a Bachelor of Science in Marine Systems Engineering was obtained.
