Joel Lyon is an experienced marine engineer currently serving as a 1st Engineer at Seabulk since January 2022. Prior to this role, Joel held the position of 1st Engineer at U.S. Shipping Corporation from July 2014 to January 2022, and worked as a 2nd Assistant Engineer at Transoceanic Cable Ship Company from August 2010 to April 2014. Joel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Technology with a focus on Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy, where studies were completed from 2006 to 2010.
