Kristin Butterworth is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in high-end hospitality. Currently serving as Executive Sous Chef at Sea Island Company since March 2024, Kristin previously held the position of Executive Chef of Restaurants at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort from February 2010 to January 2024. Under Kristin's leadership, Lautrec, one of the resort's restaurants, achieved simultaneous Forbes 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond ratings. Kristin's career also includes roles as Executive Chef at Windsor Court Hotel, overseeing a Forbes 4 Star, 4 Diamond property, and Sous Chef at The Inn at Little Washington, known for its prestigious 5 Star and 5 Diamond accolades. Early career experiences include Sous Chef positions at Sea Island Company and a Cook I role at Boulders Resort & Spa. Kristin holds a Master’s degree in Italian Cookery from The Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and a degree in Hospitality and Culinary from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
