Chris Goggans has extensive experience in the technology and security sectors, currently serving as VP of Technology at PatchAdvisor, Inc. since January 2008 and as Co-Founder of Type80 Security Software since January 2002. Additionally, Chris owns SDI, Inc. and previously worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo for several months in 2003. Early career experience includes positions as a Sr. Network Security Engineer at WheelGroup Corporation and a Senior Security Engineer at UUNET Technologies. Chris also owned Computer Security Technologies and held a Vice President role at Comsec Data Security. Chris's educational background includes studies at The University of Texas at Austin, University of Houston, and an Associate's degree in Communications from Austin Community College.
