Naomi Koshi is a seasoned legal professional and corporate governance expert with extensive experience in various roles. As a Partner at Miura & Partners since September 2020, Naomi advises clients on gender diversity in Japanese corporate governance and navigates the startup ecosystem. Additionally, Naomi co-founded and serves as CEO at OnBoard株式会社, holds the position of External Director at SoftBank, and mentors at SmartCityX. Naomi has been an Outside Director at V-cube Inc. since March 2020. Prior to these roles, Naomi was elected as Mayor of Otsu from 2012 to 2020, becoming the youngest woman to hold a mayoral position in Japan at that time. Naomi's earlier career includes significant experience as an Associate at Nishimura & Asahi, research as a Visiting Fellow at Columbia Business School, and a role as a Foreign Lawyer at Debevoise & Plimpton. Naomi holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School and has degrees from Hokkaido University.
