Kevin "Buzz" Barrette, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Head of the Division of Interventional Pain at Scripps Health, a position held since August 2021. In addition to this role, Kevin is the Chief Medical Officer at Dorsal Health, focusing on innovative musculoskeletal care. Previous experience includes an Assistant Professorship at the University of California, San Francisco, and a Clinical Instructor role at Stanford University, where Kevin received the "Best Fellow Abstract" Award. Kevin has also held positions as Chief Resident Physician at Stanford Health Care and a Resident Physician at Kaiser Permanente. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Kevin's undergraduate studies culminated in a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University.
