Carley Whitt is a skilled medical scribe currently working at Scribekick since February 2019, where responsibilities include accompanying a primary care physician during patient visits and documenting electronic medical records in real time. Previous experience includes serving as a research assistant at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, contributing to participant recruitment, data analysis, and grant proposals at the Center for Behavioral Health and Technology, as well as authoring an ethical analysis under the guidance of Dr. David Lapides. Carley also gained substantial teaching experience as an organic chemistry undergraduate assistant and teaching assistant in the University of Virginia Chemistry Department, receiving the Chemistry Departmental Undergraduate Teaching Award. Additional early medical experience includes a medical internship at Gastrointestinal Associates of Virginia. Carley holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Virginia, attained in 2019.
