Alex Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. In 1995, they started their own business, Network Installation Services, Inc, where they served as the Owner and President, overseeing all aspects of the business. Alex provided IT services to small and medium businesses, including network design, installation, and maintenance.
In 2002, Alex joined Kensey Nash Corporation as the IT Manager, and later became the Director of Information Technology. Alex successfully transformed the company's IT systems during a period of rapid growth, achieving significant benefits. Alex'sresponsibilities included evaluating and selecting an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, creating strategic plans and budgets, and handling personnel issues.
After leaving Kensey Nash Corporation, Alex worked as an Independent Consultant from 2006 to 2008, providing IT consulting services. Alex then joined AMRI as an IT Manager in 2008, where they built the IT department at Hyaluron Contract Manufacturing. Alex implemented a Material Resource Planning (MRP) system to manage materials in an FDA regulated environment.
In 2012, Alex joined Novocure Inc. as an IT Manager, where they managed the growth of the IT department in a medical device start-up. Alex supported the launch of a commercial program in the US and Europe, doubling the number of employees and office locations. Alex also defined budgets, negotiated vendor pricing, and set infrastructure goals.
Since 2015, Alex has been self-employed as an Independent Consultant, specializing in IT Management and Infrastructure. Alex worked with various clients in this capacity until 2018 when they joined scPharmaceuticals as the IT Manager. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Director of Information Technology.

Alex Wilson has a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University, where they majored in Economics and minored in Computer Science. Alex attended Vanderbilt from 1982 to 1986. In addition, they pursued a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Project Management at Boston University from 2011 to 2012.
