Rebecca has a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education and recently completed a Master of Education. Currently, Rebecca is Head of Teaching at Communicare Academy, and manages the school operations, policies, funding, disability inclusion and supports.

Rebecca was a Brownie and Guide in Scotland. In 2005, when her family moved to Australia, she joined Scouts before being booted in 2017. Rebecca held many committee positions for WARC (WA Rover Council). After two terms as WARC Public Relations Officer, she became Vice Chairperson – Membership and Training position; before serving as WARC Chairperson.

Rebecca was the WARC Secretary and completed her Baden Powell Scout Award. Scouts awarded Rebecca the Ian Jennings’ Rover Service Award in 2018, in recognition of her service as WARC Chairperson and the growth of the Rover section during her time in the section.
