Patrick Curran is a seasoned automotive engineer with extensive experience in powertrain design and development. Currently serving as the Director of Powertrain at Scout Motors Inc. since October 2023, Patrick previously held various roles at General Motors from February 2011 to October 2023, including Engineering Group Manager and Assistant Chief Engineer, where notable achievements included leading a team on the Ultium drive units for the Hummer EV. Earlier experience encompasses positions such as Research Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and multiple engineering roles at General Motors. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University between 1998 and 2003.
