Christian Alva is an experienced professional in the electrical engineering and energy sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Interconnection at Scout Clean Energy since November 2021. Previous roles include Senior Director of Transmission at Liberty and Senior Manager of System Planning & Transmission. Christian's career started at Alliant Energy, where roles included Manager of Transmission Planner and Team Lead - Transmission Planning. Additionally, Christian held positions at Puget Sound Energy as a Senior Engineer in Transmission Planning and as an Engineer in System Planning. Earlier experience includes serving as SCADA Engineer III and Distribution System Planning Engineer II at Alliant Energy and as an Electrical Engineer at Paliza Consulting. Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
