Lance Melnichenko is an accomplished marketing and brand management professional with significant experience in the gardening and healthcare industries. Currently serving as the Director of Next Gen Lawnscapes at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company since August 2023, Melnichenko previously held multiple director-level positions at The Hawthorne Gardening Company, including oversight of the Durables Category, Lighting & Environmental Controls, and Marketing from July 2019 to August 2023. Melnichenko's earlier tenure at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, from February 2013 to July 2019, included various brand manager roles focusing on direct-to-consumer strategies, lawn fertilizers, and natural/organic soils.
