Joe Heaver is a skilled Wildlife Veterinarian currently providing veterinary care to wildlife casualties at the Scottish SPCA National Wildlife Rescue Centre in Clackmannanshire since July 2021. Previously, Joe served as a Wildlife Veterinarian and Research Associate at the Zoological Society of London, where responsibilities included coordinating a wildlife disease surveillance project from September 2019 to September 2021. Joe also gained experience as a Veterinary Surgeon at Battle Flatts Veterinary Clinic from January 2017 to January 2019, managing a diverse caseload of companion animals, exotic pets, and wildlife. Joe's educational background includes a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from the Royal Veterinary College, a Master's in Wild Animal Health, and ongoing studies for a Certificate in Zoological Medicine at The University of Edinburgh.
