Jay MacTavish, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Senior Total Wealth Planner at Scotia Wealth Management since May 2022. Prior to this role, MacTavish held the position of Manager, Corporate Tax at IG Wealth Management from January 2021 to May 2022. Experience at PwC as a Senior Associate in Tax spanned from October 2018 to January 2021, while earlier roles at Deloitte Canada included Senior Tax Analyst and several positions in Assurance & Advisory from January 2016 to September 2018. MacTavish began professional development with summer positions at Deloitte Canada in 2014 and 2015. Academic qualifications include a Chartered Professional Accountant designation from CPA Western School of Business, completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program, and a Bachelor of Commerce - BComm Honours degree from the University of Manitoba.
