Steve Machuga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and operations management. Currently serving as a Certified SCORE Mentor at SCORE Mentors since 2024, Steve provides pro bono mentoring to both start-up and existing small businesses. Previously, Steve held the position of Chief Operating Officer at indie Semiconductor from 2020 to 2023. A long tenure at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. from 2002 to 2020 included roles as Vice President of Worldwide Operations, Vice President of External Manufacturing Operations & Engineering, and Vice President of RF Front End Product Development & Process Technology. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director of Assembly Engineering at Conexant and various engineering and manufacturing management roles at Motorola Mobility across multiple locations. Steve earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on Materials Science, from the University of Connecticut.
