Gabriel Jakobson

Gabriel Jakobson's work experience began in 1995 when they co-founded Specsoft, a company that provided niche software applications for various industries. Gabriel served as the CTO and was responsible for creating client-server applications with a focus on security. After closing the company, some of the applications continued to be used.

In 2001, Gabriel joined SupportSoft, Inc. as the Director of Consumer Engineering and System Engineers' Tech Manager. Gabriel played a crucial role in pre-sales activities, handling technical aspects and creating customized demos for enterprise, OEM, financial, and DSP accounts. Gabriel also led a team in designing and winning proof-of-concepts, resulting in a high conversion rate to deals.

Gabriel then worked at Quest Software as a Desktop Virtualization Senior Engineer from 2009 to 2012.

In 2011, they became the CIO and co-founder of Zextit - Web to mobile content sharing. Gabriel was responsible for the company's technology and oversaw the development of innovative solutions, including web-to-mobile content sharing and synch/asynch co-shopping.

From 2013 to 2020, Gabriel served as the Director of Front-end Engineering at Birst. Gabriel founded and grew the front-end engineering team, which developed the user interface for Birst's SaaS BI platform. Gabriel standardized the front-end tech stack using Angular JS and created Visualizer, a self-service analytical interface that became the code-base for other UI products.

Gabriel worked as a Senior Big Data Architect at Dremio from 2020 to 2021, where they applied their expertise in big data architecture.

Currently, Gabriel is the Co-Founder and CTO at Scoop Analytics, Inc. Since April 2021, they have been leading the development of a ground-breaking product that automates data collection and analysis from various sources, integrating with popular spreadsheets.
