Tim Verpoorten is a technical engineer at SCK-CEN since June 2019, where responsibilities include contributing to the design and implementation of experimental setups, managing lab operations, and ensuring the safe maintenance of equipment. Prior to this role, Tim worked as an application engineer and process engineer at Helvoet from January 2015 to June 2019, focusing on customer support, project management, and the development of production processes. Tim holds a master's degree in Elektromechanische technieken from Hasselt University, completed in 2015.
