Santiago Ramos Garces is a PhD researcher at SCK CEN since January 2022, with previous experience as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Universiteit Antwerpen from November 2020 to December 2021, and as a Masterarbeit student at SMS group GmbH, focusing on reel impact elimination for cold rolling mills. Santiago's earlier roles include serving as a line technician at Industrias Japan S.A., where automation projects were developed for motorcycle parts, and as a technical support engineer at Quimel S.L., providing programming and support for servo systems. Santiago also contributed to academia as a tutor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, teaching various engineering subjects.
