Dr Natwaine Gardner, returning Board member, is a Biotechnologist by profession. She holds a wealth of knowledge in Applied Organic Chemistry and in Research and Product Development. Dr Gardner has obtained a BSc Biotechnology (Hons) degree and a PhD Biotechnology (high commendation) degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona in the areas of substance abuse and addiction treatment; and the biochemical effects of natural products in treating diseases. She has served as a consultant to implementing the Medicinal Cannabis Unit in the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Her various consultancies involve research and product development, focusing on nutraceutical-related products.
