Barbara Calhoun is a Senior Research Scientist at Scientific Learning since 1998, where responsibilities include collaborating with educational institutions to conduct studies on neuroscience applications, utilizing Scientific Learning's products, and designing new offerings. Calhoun also delivers written and oral presentations of research findings to various audiences. Prior to this role, Calhoun served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University from 1995 to 1998, focusing on auditory nerve responses to complex stimuli and utilizing Matlab and C for data analysis and modeling. Barbara Calhoun earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, between 1987 and 1995, and a Bachelor of Science from Brown University from 1983 to 1987 in the same field.
