Rasha Dewedar is a highly skilled translator, writer, and researcher specializing in gender and Islam content. Currently, Rasha works with the Musawah Movement, focusing on writing, editing, and proofreading Arabic documents while also supporting research and communication efforts. With extensive experience as a science writer for Scientific American and a translator for Popular Science, Rasha additionally contributes to Raseef22 and SciDev.Net as a lifestyle writer and science journalist, respectively. Rasha's background includes roles as a medical writer for Arab Heart Magazine and as a consultant for various institutions, including Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Rasha has also trained activists on advocacy related to gender-based violence through the Danner-Lokk project.
