Denis Fougere is a prominent economist with extensive experience in research and teaching. Since September 2008, Denis has held the position of Directeur de Recherches CNRS at Sciences Po, contributing to the Observatoire Sociologique du Changement and serving as a scientific advisor to the Ministry of Education. Denis is also involved in academia, teaching econometrics, public policy evaluation, and education economics. Additionally, Denis has been a scientific advisor at DEPP since 2005 and a researcher at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire d'Evaluation des Politiques Publiques since 2011. With a long tenure as a research fellow at CEPR and IZA, as well as previous consultancy roles at Banque de France and CREST, Denis has demonstrated a significant commitment to economic research. Denis holds a Doctorate in Economic Sciences from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole and a Diplôme d'Analyste Scientifique in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
