Ariane Joab-Cornu currently serves as a Conseillère auprès du Directeur at Sciences Po, starting in October 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a climate advisor in the Cabinet of the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs and as Programme Manager for Climate Finance at the European Climate Foundation. Ariane held roles at AFD - Agence Française de Développement, where responsibilities included leading the development of the 2023-2028 climate roadmap and coordinating participation in global climate events, and as Senior Liaison Officer to the United Nations at the International Monetary Fund, managing engagements on climate and development issues. Previous positions involved negotiating UN resolutions and consulting on governance and civic transition at AFD. Ariane holds a Master in Public Policy from Sciences Po and has studied at both Sciences Po and City University of Hong Kong.
