Nassim Majidi

Lecturer - Migration & Refugees / Conflict & Development Graduate Course at Sciences Po Lille

Nassim Majidi is a seasoned professional in migration research and international relations, currently serving as Co-Founder, Director, and Head of Migration Research at Samuel Hall since September 2009. Nassim Majidi is also a Research Associate at both Tufts University’s Feinstein International Center and the African Center for Migration & Society at the University of the Witwatersrand. Additional roles include membership in the Human Mobility Initiative Advisory Network at Overseas Dev and lecturing at Sciences Po Lille on topics related to migration, refugees, and conflict. Previously, Nassim Majidi contributed as an Affiliate Researcher at Sciences Po Paris from February 2016 to March 2019. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Political Science from Sciences Po, participation in the Stanford Seed Transformation Program, and a Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford. A strong foundation in political science is further established with a Master’s degree from Sciences Po and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
