Nate Wright is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Science since April 2023, Nate previously held the same title at Mammoth Biosciences from April 2022 to March 2023. Prior to this, Nate was the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Silicon Kidney from January 2015 to April 2022 and worked as an R&D Engineer at UCSF between February 2014 and April 2022. Earlier career experiences include an R&D Intern position at BASIS Science in 2013, as well as roles as a Research Assistant and Laboratory Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from January 2011 to August 2012. Nate's initial engineering experience includes an internship at American Ultraviolet in 2010. Nate holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
