Kathy Rutherford is a seasoned Tech Ed Product Evaluator with extensive experience in STEM education, currently self-employed since October 2015. Kathy has served as a Technical Mentor for robotics teams at both The Mary Louis Academy and Immaculate Conception High School, contributing to the FIRST Robotics community. Additionally, Kathy is involved as a speaker and mentor for NJ FTC STEM Girls and provides engineering support for the Girl Scouts of Greater New York. As a FIRST Robotics Competition Judge and an Emoti-Con NYC Youth Digital Media and Technology Challenge Judge, Kathy actively engages in the evaluation of engineering projects. With a robust educational background in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and Electrical Engineering from Manhattan University, Kathy also contributes to the Biomedical Engineering Advisory Council at The College of New Jersey and participates as a judge in Science Olympiad events.
