Margaret A. Cairns has had extensive work experience with SCI Companies, starting in 1994. Within the company, they held various positions such as Human Resource Professional, Resource Development Professional, Director of Training and Development, and Vice President of HR. This allowed their to gain a thorough understanding of client relationships and prepare their to effectively manage the Atlanta Operations. In 2009, Margaret became the Director of Human Capital Development and Atlanta Operations at SCI Companies, where they were responsible for overseeing client assignments, providing strategic business consultation, and developing high-performance work teams. Before their time with SCI Companies, they worked as an Educational Instructor at Fort Bragg Schools, specializing in teaching non-violent crisis intervention techniques to educators and staff for emotionally handicapped children.

Margaret A. Cairns pursued a Ph.D. in Adult Education from the University of South Florida between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Education and Human Resources at Fayetteville State University from 1989 to 1992. Margaret also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Florida State University, earned between 1974 and 1976.
