Talha Zamir, P.Eng, M.Eng, is an experienced engineer specializing in protection and control engineering with a solid background in power systems. Currently serving as an Engineer at Rising Edge Group since May 2022, Talha has successfully conducted numerous substation protection studies for 240kV and 138kV systems. Previous experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer, EIT at CES Corporation and DynaWest Engineering Ltd., where various power system studies, relay settings, and compliance with electrical codes were completed. Additionally, Talha has a research background from the University of Alberta, contributing to published papers in IEEE and gaining hands-on experience through co-op positions at Halliburton and MAK Contractors. Talha holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
