Jennifer filed all US and foreign patent and trademark applications, corresponding with foreign attorneys throughout the prosecution process, managed the US PTO deposit account, conducted trademark searches, and worked with the marketing department to provide guidance on product name development. Jennifer also periodically reviewed marketing materials, brochures, and literature to ensure proper designation of trademarks, managed annuities, monitored patents to make sure all fees were paid on time, interfaced with engineers from different divisions regarding new inventions, and held quarterly and annual patent reviews with each business division to review all patents and open disclosures on file. Jennifer budgeted and justified a new computer software system that eliminated redundant tasks.
