Marc Ehrig has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marc is currently employed at SCHUFA Holding AG as the Head of Portfolio Management, a position they have held since February 2017. Prior to that, they worked at FIS as a Senior Project Manager, Professional Services from February 2015 to January 2017. Before joining FIS, Marc was a Manager at PwC in the Financial Services Technology Consulting department from July 2010 to December 2014. Marc also gained experience at Thomson Reuters as a Project Manager, Product Manager, and Specialist from April 2006 to June 2010. Marc started their professional career as a Researcher for Semantic Web Technologies at Universität Karlsruhe (TH), Institute AIFB from April 2002 to March 2006.
Marc Ehrig pursued their education in a chronological order. From 1996 to 2002, they attended the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and obtained a degree in Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur (Master) in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration. Following this, Marc continued their studies at the same institution and earned a Doctor (PhD) in Computer Science, with a specialization in Semantic Web, from 2002 to 2006.
In addition to their formal education, Marc Ehrig obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. In 2008, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. A year later, in 2009, they acquired the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. Most recently, in June 2022, Marc obtained the Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
