Alissa Mojica, CAMS, has extensive experience in fraud detection and compliance within the financial services industry. Currently serving as Manager of Fraud Detection and Fraud Systems & Analytics at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union since December 2012, Alissa also held positions as Manager/BSA Officer and Assistant Manager in the BSA Department. Prior experience includes functioning as Compliance Officer/BSA Officer at Altura Credit Union, where oversight of operations, lending, and BSA/AML compliance was key. Alissa began their career as a Business Analyst while contracted at Southern California Edison. Educational credentials include attendance at Western CUNA Management School (July 2022 - July 2024), a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara (1998 - 2003), and a brief study at the University of Salamanca in 2002.
