Daniel Sammut is an experienced project officer and sports administrator with a solid background in operations, education, and community engagement within the sporting industry. Currently serving as a Project Officer - Operations at School Sport Victoria since May 2021, Daniel has previously held roles such as Project Officer - Hobsons Bay UP at Hobsons Bay City Council and Sport and Recreation Officer at Wyndham City Council. Daniel's career also includes significant contributions to North Melbourne Football Club as the Education Coordinator for The Huddle and a combined role in sport and education, as well as experience with AFL Victoria in game development and Auskick coordination. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business in Sport Management from La Trobe University, complemented by various qualifications in event management and sport-related studies from prestigious institutions, including Duke and the University of Pennsylvania.
