Michelle Black

Michelle Black has been in the software and marketing industry for over 10 years. Michelle began their career in 2008 as an Account Representative at Ketchum Directory Advertising, where they recommended media buys for Directv and Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in the internet and print yellow pages. Michelle also negotiated rates and media placements with publishers, as well as designed advertisements that aligned with company objectives.

In 2010, Michelle began working with School Outfitters, where they held multiple roles. Michelle started as an Ecommerce Specialist, leading a cross-functional team to plan, develop and execute Marketing projects. Michelle then moved on to become a Search Marketing Associate, managing 100+ advertising campaigns, achieving ROI goals for million dollar ad spend. After that, they became a Business Analyst, translating complex business problems and opportunities into solutions, and influencing the product roadmap by leveraging extensive customer, business and technical knowledge. Finally, they served as the Lead Business Analyst, leading the cross-functional Customer Voice Team, and establishing a customer centric, test and learn culture. Most recently, Michelle was the Manager of Software Solutions, overseeing the Software Development Life Cycle for large strategic projects.

Michelle Black attended Wright State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management.
