Rayna Rollins has extensive experience in education, particularly in deaf and special education. Since August 2015, Rollins has worked as both a Deaf Education Teacher and Special Education Teacher for Terrebonne Parish School District. Prior roles include Sales Manager positions at Communications Consulting Group and Birnbaum Interpreting Services from October 2014 to April 2015, and a Hearing Impaired Resource Teacher for Assumption Parish School District from August 2006 to October 2014, as well as for East Baton Rouge Parish School System from August 2004 to July 2006. Rollins began a teaching career at the Mississippi School for the Deaf from January 2001 to July 2004. Academic qualifications include an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Nicholls State University, a BA in Deaf Education from The University of Southern Mississippi, and a BA in Communication Disorders from Nicholls State University.
