Dr. Renato M Lajara is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Assistant Superintendent for The School District of Philadelphia since May 2022. With a robust background in school administration, Dr. Lajara has held positions such as Director of Elementary Education and Principal in the Cheltenham School District since 2017, and previously as Principal at Kensington High School and John B. Stetson Charter School from 2008 to 2017. Dr. Lajara holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in K-12 Education, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, and a Bachelor's degree in Education, all from Gwynedd Mercy University.
